What's the real cost to get a complete lab to Africa?

A full science kit for 30 students (biology, physics, chemistry) is roughly $850 FOB Ambala. Sea freight and insurance to Mombasa adds about $100-130, so you're looking at $950-980 CIF Mombasa. Air freight to Nairobi runs closer to $1,050-1,100.

Import duty on educational equipment (HS 9023) is 0% in Kenya under EAC CET. VAT can be exempted for registered educational institutions. So your total landed cost stays around $950-980 per school if you're registered.

Do your prices include VAT?

No. All prices are exclusive of local taxes. We're an Indian manufacturer—Indian GST doesn't apply to exports. Import VAT in your country is your responsibility, but registered schools in Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania can usually apply for VAT exemption on educational equipment.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum. Order one microscope or five hundred kits. That said, for single-item orders it makes sense to combine items into one shipment so freight costs stay proportionate. Under $200, air freight is usually cheaper than sea. Contact us and we'll work out the best shipping option.
