Bangladesh has over 35,000 secondary schools. That's a lot of labs to kit out, and most of them are ordering through DSHE on an annual cycle. Then you've got BTEB handling 700+ technical and vocational institutes with their own gear lists. And NCTB setting the curriculum that everything needs to match. It's a lot of moving parts, and if your supplier doesn't know the difference between an SSC biology kit and a BTEB electronics workshop setup, you're going to end up with equipment that looks good on paper but doesn't actually cover the practicals.

We've been shipping to Bangladesh from our Ambala Cantt facility since 1996. We know the NCTB biology practical curriculum for Form 9-10 inside out. We know what DSHE procurement officers actually want to see on a tender document. And we know BTEB's TVET requirements aren't the same as standard secondary school science. Our NCTB secondary school kits cover SSC biology, chemistry, and physics for Form 9-10. The biology kit has your microscopes, specimen gear, and everything for the ecology investigations NCTB specifies. Chemistry comes with the glassware, balance, and titration setup. Physics covers mechanics, optics, and electricity practicals.

For HSC level—Form 11-12—we've got higher secondary biology kits that step up from the SSC baseline. And for BTEB, we supply technical training kits: electronics, electrical, mechanical workshop equipment. The kind of stuff vocational institutes actually use, not theory models that sit in a cupboard.

If you're doing a DSHE procurement, we format everything to CPTU standards. Central Procurement Technical Unit documentation can be picky, but we've done enough of these that the paperwork doesn't slow us down.

Shipping to Bangladesh

Chittagong port is 12 to 18 days by sea from our location. Compare that to China, which is usually 25 to 30 days. That proximity cuts your freight costs and gets you the gear faster. For urgent orders—maybe exam prep is coming up and you're short on microscopes—air freight from Ambala to Dhaka is 3 to 4 days.

We accept Letters of Credit from Bangladesh banks. Dutch-Bangla, Islami Bank, BRAC—no problem. We know how the LC process works on your end, so we don't create delays with incomplete documentation.

What exactly does SSC biology need?

SSC biology practicals in Bangladesh are pretty specific. Microscope observations, plant and animal specimens, measurement activities, ecology investigations. Our NCTB SSC biology kit covers all the Form 9-10 requirements as they're actually written in the curriculum—not our interpretation of them.

Is Indian supply really cheaper than Chinese?

On landed cost, usually yes. The sea freight alone saves you money because we're closer. Chittagong is one of the shortest routes from India. Less time on a ship means lower insurance, lower risk of damage, and you get your lab operational faster. For a country with 35,000+ schools trying to hit procurement deadlines, those extra two weeks matter.
