Parallel Plate Capacitor demonstrates the working of a capacitor; a device which allows the storage of electrical energy in the electric field created between a pair of conductors on which electric charges of equal magnitude, but opposite polarity, have been placed. 

Dielectric materials can be placed between the plates for further investigation.
